About Lao Cai
Lao Cai is a province city in north-west Vietnam which is also the capital of the same named province Lao Cai. The city stretches along the redriver and has a boarderpoint to the chinese district Honghe with a view on the Honghe mountains. Lao Cai City has around 100.000 inhabitants and can be designated as a large and important city. However it still maintains the appearance of a friendly community city. On the picture to the left you can see the province Lao Cai. The 9 districts of Lao Cai province are shaped by the Hoang-Lien-Son-Mountain chain, the red river and the boarder of China.
