Ethnic Minority Boarding School

 As a volunteer in this school, my role was to support the English teachers in developing communication skills for the students while also support the school to organize activities for students to learn about international cultures and promote the spirit of global citizenship. Specific tasks included working as a teaching assistant for English classes, where I needed to prepare the lessons beforehand to help students improve listening and speaking skills. As a volunteer, I also supported and participated in extracurricular activity clubs, especially the English club. The classes that I taught where grade 10 and 11. The level of English of the students might not be very good and they are shy to speak English sometimes but they are eager to learn and improve their English skills. Also, the students are friendly, welcoming and will help you a lot during your stay while the English teachers support you when you have any questions.
